The Montecampione ski Resort
The Montecampione ski resort covers some 35 kms, it was one of italy's first resorts to install snow cannons and today uses the latest technology to maintain optimal conditions.
► 4 blue runs,
► 12 red runs
► 4 black runs
over 3 stations; La Splaza 1200mts, Secondino 1400mts and Le Baite 1800mts.
The resort recently changed owners with new investors and plans for expansion.

Two ski schools with English speaking instructors make your first steps easy and secure.

Montecampione location and services
They say that in looking for a houes it's Location, Location..and Location. Same for a ski resort and Montecampione is ideally located being the closest to the low cost hub airport of Milan Bergamo Orio al Serio ( Long name for a modern airport ) and just 60 to 70 minutes drive by car.

Montecampione Accomodation
There are 3 locations offering accomodation, depending on your needs.
Montecampione Le Baite at top of mountain for a 7 night more intense winter ski packages.
Montecampione La Splaza at the bottom of resort with swimming pool and direct access to the slopes, ideal for a 7 night family ski holiday
Boario Terme Alpine spa village in the valley below the Montecampione resort with regular ski shuttle bus and perfect for cheap ski holidays, ski deals and extra night life and facilities like the Spa complex.
Boario Terme also offers flexible arrival days and length of stay (ideal given the closeness to Bergamo airport and the possibility to do short ski holidays or weekend ski breaks). Boario Terme is also accessable by public transport whilst the resort itself is not.

Montecampione ski resort is also the home town of the 3 Fanchini sisters. National champions and Olympic and world cup contenders.
